My observations of the beauty and lovable humor of nature

Setting moon in the pinks of a dawn sky - an enchanting moment in time.

Some drama in the field... - a tale of a gander and his lady.

The "duck alarm" goes off - Ducks and geese band together -- the little brown female ducks lead the group. Sweet and funny.

Whoopee. It's RAINING!!! Dr. Emoto and blessing the water. - Rain, oceans, our bodies. The water in us and around us is a blessing. Dr. Emoto on blessing water.

Who's playing games? Playfulness in the clouds.

In appreciation for a loving view of nature: Beyond the Fields We Know

One especially beautiful understanding I've learned from Abraham-Hicks is that we create by appreciating -- we not only attract it in our own experience of the world, but by loving it, we send the message out to the Universe: more please!

This is one of a series of posts sharing my appreciation for others who express their love in blogs or articles. John Cali and Chief Joseph in the post before this, and Cate in this one. In her blog, Beyond the Fields We Know, Cate shines her love on the earth to illuminate it for me with her photographs and words. I am soothed and inspired.

Here's her tender experience of a beaver pond near her home:

12.01.2007
Freezing Over

I come here in early winter to be a witness as the beaver pond freezes over, to watch as ice forms in the trees along the pond, on the reeds along its perimeter and the brittle tumps of aquatic grasses which fringe the swimming channels of the resident beaver colony, now tucked warm and snug in its lodge out in the center of the pond.

Mere photos will never do justice to this place, and neither will my words, but here I am anyway on a freezing day, bundled up in my warmest winter gear with a camera slung around my neck and a noggin full of words which have icicles dangling from them.

The water is icy cold and clear, and it contains not only the dreaming landscape around the pond, but the whole blue winter sky - nothing whatsoever of this perfect day is left out, forgotten or willfully cast aside. In early morning, everything sparkles in the sun, and the light is so intense it is blinding - one can scarcely see a thing. Since I know the contours of these peaceful waters as well as I know the contours of my own two wrinkled hands, this being blinded is not a problem. It feels good to stand on the shoreline in the sharp winter light, thoughtful and all bedazzled - I am right where I should be.

These early winter visits are good times for revisiting the year; for remembering frogs singing at dusk in springtime, mud turtles sunning on their log perches in summer and deer coming down to the shore to drink, herons striding through the shallows in autumn and migrating geese winging their way overhead. This year, the water lilies were spectacular all summer long.

My pond may seem quiet, abandoned and forlorn at this time of year, but that is only an illusion - it's crowded with fur and scales and bright plumage, with flowers, wild musics and happy memories.

Blog Action Day: Using the Abraham-Hicks information for our well-being and the environment

I was watching the DVDs for the Abraham-Hicks Alaska Cruise 2005 and heard Abraham give some information that works well for our desires for well-being for our beautiful earth and all life on it.

The woman asking the question was a politician from Canada who wanted to use the Law of Attraction to create her desires for her country and her constituents. Abraham said that all she had to do was focus on what she would like to create and align with it.

Abraham said she could do this privately. She didn't have to create committees or get signatures or do any particular action unless it was inspired and felt good. The Universe would bring all of the people and circumstances together to fulfill her desire.

We don't manifest it -- we allow, accept, receive, reach out and open our hands and hearts in welcome. Every desire we have is manifested by this very loving Universe. Our bodies --everything -- is brought into our earth experience by Source Energy. We are the co-creators, the visualizers, the requesters, the appreciators -- we are the ones who experience and ask for more. We are the ones who work the clay of the physical by appreciating, experiencing, giving the focus of our attention, making decisions, and sending off our rockets of desire.

When we reemerge into non-physical -- when we blend back into our pure positive selves -- what we ask for is given very quickly because we are aligned and allowing. The information that Abraham has given us is in answer to our desire to consciously choose that positive state by changing thoughts that don't feel good. The more we choose positive thinking, the better we feel, and the better we feel the more we align with our true nature -- and the more we allow our desires to manifest.

A couple of days ago I had an experience of feeling how loving the Universe is. I could feel the Universe was pure, overflowing, giving Love because that is It's nature. The Universe is pure Love and wants to give you what you ask for. Wants you to have it. Offers you your desire, and neverending love, without conditions. Believes with no restraint that you deserve it. Sees only the good in you. The Light in you. The Love that you are.

There are wonderful books and tapes of the information Abraham has offered. They offer techniques and exercises to change to a better feeling vibration and align with your true self. Or, if it pleases you, you can pet your cat and choose to think of yourself as the lucky one who always has everything fall into place. We are all free to choose what feels good and works for us.

So what can you do for the environment? Get something delicious to drink and watch a sunset. Bless the water. Ask Source Energy for what you want and why. Align with your good feelings and your desires and take the action that feels good to you. Stretch your legs and feel the sun on your back as you help clean up a stream. Tell the Universe why you have your desire. Because I love animals. Because the clean air smells good. Because I want to be healthy. Because it makes me feel good. Appreciate. Ask. Appreciate. Feel good. Ask. Enjoy!

Take a journey of power and visualize the earth and all of the life on it as you wish it to be. Go anywhere with your vision that feels good. Soar with the joy of appreciation and know what power you have in that moment. You are co-creator with the energy that creates planets, solar systems, and the intricate, wondrous functioning of living beings. And go to your powerful place of vision again when it feels good. As much as you want. In any way that you want. You get to choose and the Universe says "YES!!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waiting for circumstances to change so you can feel good is like looking in a mirror waiting for your reflection to smile first.
~Bashar
The politician was the first questioner on the Alaska Cruise 2005 DVDs, Disc 2, Fourth Session, July 10, 2005. On that set of DVDs there was also a veterinarian asking how to work with a horse. Abraham talked to her about communicating with animals and their humans as well as how to align and hold a vision for the animals. A man was talking about getting together with others for 17 seconds of visualizing and how powerful that was. Abraham talked to the politician about a similar process saying they thought it was a fine idea to get together with other like-minded people to visualize.
Whoopee. It's RAINING!!!! Dr. Emoto and blessing water.
What a beautiful day. Late last night I heard heavy thunder coming my way and when I opened the drapes, could see steady flashes of lightning on the horizon. It took about an hour but the thunder grew louder and louder until the bright, white light flashed through the drapes and heavy rain hit the windows. I went to sleep, comforted.
I've always liked rain -- I like balance, too, and have never had the desire to live in an area that has too much. We've had very dry weather in the 90's for several weeks and yesterday the wind blew the dead leaves along the ground like a very hot fall day. I appreciate the wind that blew this storm to us. The plants, grass, and trees are just following their wisdom -- trees dropping leaves to conserve energy. Plants go into a type of dormant period during really hot weather.
But today was magnificent! I woke up to the promise of heavy, dark grey clouds and I wasn't disappointed. The music of thunder grumbled for several hours as it drizzled, poured, drizzled, then grew into steady rain. I opened my windows several times just to smell the moist air and listen to the rain gurgling in the downspout.
I've always loved water. I like to drink it. I love to swim, to watch ocean waves and hear the shush as they wash over the sand, to enjoy lakes and rivers, and to sit on a porch wrapped in a quilt and listen to the rain. It's an earth meditation for me.
I read about Dr. Masuru Emoto's work using the principle of Hado and water took on new meaning for me. He has photographed crystals of water affected by thoughts sent to it.
Hado creates words. Words are the vibrations of nature. Therefore beautiful words create beautiful nature. Ugly words create ugly nature. This is the root of the universe.” by Masaru Emoto
His theories fit right in with Abraham-Hicks and deliberate reality creation. Hado in action says that everything is vibration and when we change the vibration, the substance is changed.
So, what does this mean for you and me? Most of the earth is water -- 70% of the earth's surface is covered by water and there is more in the ground. 66% of the human body is water.
I invite you to look at the photographs of water at Dr. Emoto's site, Hadolife, and then think of how beautiful your body becomes when you love it, when you say beautiful words to the water you drink, and to the shower or bath that feels so good. How powerful your words of appreciation are when your spirit is nourished by the rivers and streams and rain.
Blessings to water. Thank you for sustaining me. For nourishing me. For uplifting my spirit every day.
Who's playing games?
I looked out my window early this morning and white condensation trails from jets crisscrossed the clear blue sky. The big white harvest moon was in the upper left square of the pattern -- looking like someone was beginning a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.
Later the trails spread into huge feathers and now there are fluffy white clouds across the blue sky. The birds are singing. The air is sweet and fresh.
Just another beautiful day in paradise.
Setting moon in the pinks of a dawn sky
I woke to a beautiful sight this morning. The sky is all dawn pale pinks and blues and a big full moon is setting just above the trees outside my window. This harvest moon looks larger than normal, with that bright lunar white showing the dark markings of the man in the moon. I just opened the window to breathe in the crisp, cold air and listen to the sounds of the flocks of birds talking excitedly as they fly to their favorite places for breakfast. And in the time that it's taken to write this the sun is bright and I can't see the moon anymore.
Just one more enchanted moment from God. What a beautiful day!
Abraham-Hicks and Suzanne: This moment is for something that feels good
Mining the moment for something that feels good, something to appreciate, something to savor, something to take in, that's what your moments are about. They're not about justifying your existence. It's justified. You exist. It's not about proving your worthiness. It's done. You're worthy. It's not about achieving success. You never get it done. It's about "How much can this moment deliver to me?" And some of you like them fast, some of you like them slow. No one's taking score. You get to choose. The only measurement is between my desire and my allowing. And your emotions tell you everything about that.
Abraham-Hicks, 4/20/02
At the heart of every condition is a vibrational pattern -- a rather minor tweaking of vibrational patterning (sort of like the hub of a wheel) can affect tremendously out there on the peripheral of this big wheel... A little bit of tweaking on the emotion can make big differences in the way the physical manifestation occurs.
Abraham-Hicks, G-1-29-05
We have to be enough right now. It’s the only logic. What in the world could we do to become enough if we weren’t enough now?!! It doesn’t make any sense.
And in Abe’s terms, we are in the eternal NOW and always expanding, always with new desires so maybe this feeling of not enough comes from our awareness of the vast potential of our being, all these desires flickering and winking like a multitude of stars in a night sky.
And so the answer seems to be to enjoy the smorgasbord, the banquet of possibilities. To come back to myself and walk like a queen amongst the possibilities and say I’d like to sample this to see if I want more and I’ll take one of those and please get one of those for me and load my basket with these and please carry it for me. Thank you! Oh and those look delicious and I think I’ll just sit and bask a moment in all the delightful things I see and just feel satisfied and happy and content. Now that takes my eye… And I enjoy the banquet: the trees, the flowers, birds, fresh air, breeze on my skin, clouds, storms, gentle warm summer rains, thick snow lining the tree branches, ice glistening on the pond, the sweet ducks and geese and all the birds flying free and the furry animals and those with scales and claws and those beings that swim in the deep waters, feeders of nectar, munchers of fish, furry ones who sleep all winter and those that migrate. Minerals and rocks and mountains and molehills. Gophers and ants and sparrows and ladybugs. I love them all. Beautiful Mother Earth and Father Sky. Kwan Yin, Buddha, Christ, Chief Seattle, Amethyst, guides and teachers. It is my joy to know I am one with you and that there is more, deeper, even more beautiful to come.
Suzanne, 8/13/05 Saturday 10:27 PM
The only thing that makes the difference in the way you feel right now is the thought that you are thinking right now. It doesn't matter how much money you've got; there are joyful people with no money, and there are unhappy people with lots of money. How you feel is about how you are allowing the Source that is You to flow. So when we talk about the Art of Allowing, we're talking about the art of living; about the art of thriving; about the art of clarity. We're talking about the art of being who you really are.
Abraham-Hicks, 7/20/02
Get out into the sunlight, out where everything is, with a vibration that is so dominant that those who annoy you, those who don't agree with you, those who make your life feel uncomfortable don't come into your experience, because your vibration, through your practice, has become so clear, so pure, so clean, so in keeping with what you want, that the world that revolves around you just feels like that. That's what you planned.
Birds are a symbol of Freedom - a gift after I saw the Seagull
This first quote is the one that came to me right after I saw the seagull I mention in the post before this:
Birds, they are the symbol of Freedom. They are the closest thing to absolute, pure freedom you can visually witness in your physical experience. They are so flexible and so mobile and so light and so free and so joyful! They represent the pure essence of your Being -- and that is why you are drawn to them.
Abraham-Hicks, workshop G 2/8/91
The birds of your planet are often messengers or translators of Non-Physical Energy; all beasts are, to a certain extent. But the birds of your planet are used often in that way. Non-Physical Energy, wanting to express something to physical, often finds a bird as a very easy messenger, because the birds are mobile, they are everywhere, and they are willing. And they are vibrationally intuitive, sensitive to vibration more so than most beasts, and therefore pliable to the will, if you will, of the Energy.
Response to channeling in Words of Well-being, Dec. 7, 2005
When channeling in Words of Well-being on December 7, 2005, I was asked to share these experiences.
I was not enjoying my job, relationships, had health problems, financial problems and just generally had come to the end in the direction I had been going. I found the Abraham-Hicks information and knew it was what I was looking for. Instead of trying to make changes in small increments, I jumped in to completely change the whole direction of my thinking. It was a lot to take on and I quite naturally didn't immediately feel better. Abraham talks of how we create our reality and that when we appreciate, we are connected with the loving Source and with our Inner Being. One time I was feeling pretty miserable, many things not seeming to be working well. I was in a pet store looking for food for my cat and asking for guidance and I asked my Inner Being: Well, how would you do it in my shoes? How would you appreciate right now? And suddenly I saw all of the food and toys that were available shelf after shelf. And the beautiful colors and just the abundance. And the money I had to buy it. I walked out into the dark night and looked at the grainy broken concrete and the patterns looked beautiful. It had started to snow and I stood under a light in the parking lot and just looked at the big, fluffy flakes coming down. I drove home in a daze of enjoyment and appreciate of the lights of the cars and how traffic moved so smoothly and how stunningly beautiful the snow storm was. Seeing the grainy concrete as beautiful really surprised me and I also remember just that joyful, constant appreciation and wonder at how beautiful everything was. We have a tremendous capacity for joy if we will allow it.
And there is one more experience I am to share. I had taken a job in January this year and it was in a very unpleasant environment. I was in training and the trainer was difficult and rude. I was miserable, but felt I had to stay with it because of health and financial reasons. I had asked God for a sign that I was on the right path in my work with learning reality creation. One day I left the training and I felt at my lowest ebb. It was gray and so cold outside. I backed my car out of the space and straightened it up and started to drive when a seagull flew down beside my driver's side window. I was so surprised! If the window had been open it was close enough that I could have touched it. And here is the other part that is a bit of a miracle to me, I was so amazed that it was there and stayed there that I drove to the end of the parking lot looking to the left at the seagull instead of watching where I was going. It stayed right beside me until I got to the end of the parking lot and then flew into the sky to join a companion that was circling overhead. Now, the other part is that I'm in the midwest and this was January, not a common time to see a seagull!! There is a large lake in a city about an hour from me and perhaps that's where it came from. All that week I saw hawks and other beautiful birds and written material about birds being an expression of freedom came to me unexpectedly. The seagull was simply wonderful and I still get tears in my eyes when I think about it. I love animals and see them as an expression of God, too, so this was especially meaningful to me.
Beauty is all around us. There are miracles happening every day. And we are one of them -- the gift of this life and the love that we are. That's the greatest gift we can give ourselves and others.
Today is a day for celebration
Change is happening so quickly now and it isn't like I'm changing into someone else, it's that I'm changing into myself. All those old illusions and ideas I had about myself and life, the trying to fit in and be something I wasn't...just dissolving. It's so much easier to connect with people now because I feel connected to myself. I finished a channeling for Words of Well-Being and they wanted to add that if people make comments they will answer their questions! It wasn't a question of me being ready for it. It's going forth. It's happening. It's all happening. The writing I've wanted to do, the channeling that wanted to happen...it's here!! The life I want is here and Now.
I opened the blinds this morning to one of those beautiful snow storms -- big fluffy flakes drifting down. There is a polite and lovely blanket of snow on the ground and outlining the dark, wet branches of the trees. The streets are clear and quiet...no cars go by. It's one of those days for enjoying the beauty of something new and different. The sky is a whitish grey, uniform in color, but not in intent...the snow is supposed to turn to rain later. So, anything can happen. It's a good day to go have Chinese food for lunch.
Today is a day for celebration.
