All love must flow through you first

"All love must flow first through you. All love stems from the boundless, endless love of the universe and flows first through you before it can reach out to others. You must love yourself first, embrace yourself just as you are, with all of your so-called faults and imperfections, and recognize these as being exactly right. For they are. You are. You are exactly who and what you need to be in order to be just where you are, learning what you are learning, poised to take the next step on your wonderful journey, this great adventure called life."

Cazaril sees a miracle in every direction

Cazaril has just experienced a life changing encounter with a goddess, The Daughter of Spring, that happened when he was fighting to save his ruler, the Royesse Iselle. As I read it, an image filled my mind of the earth and all of the miracles of life as a song rising up together and filling the Universe.

"Cazaril's attention was arrested by a pebble that lay on the pavement near his knee. It was so dense. So persistent. The gods could not lift so much as a feather, but he, a mere human, might pick up this ancient unchanging object and place it wherever he wished, even into his pocket. He wondered why he had never appreciated the stubborn fidelity of matter. A dried leaf lay nearby, even more stunning in its complexity. Matter invented so many forms, and then went up out of it like melody from an instrument...matter was an amazement to the gods. Matter remembered itself so very clearly. He could not think why he had failed to notice it before. His own shaking hand was a miracle, as was the fine metal sword in his belly, and the orange trees in the tubs -- spilling --- and the tubs, and the birdsong starting in the morning, and the water---water! Five gods, water!---in the fountain, and the morning light filtering into the sky..."
"Lord Cazaril?" came the faint voice from his elbow.
He glanced aside to find that dy Cembuer had crept up to him.
"What was that?" Dy Cembuer sounded very close to tears.
"Some miracles." Too many in one place at one time. He was overwhelmed with miracles. They filled his eyes in every direction.

Allowing: swimming through the world like a fish

"...It has to do with the shape of your soul, not its worthiness. You have to make a cup of yourself, to receive that pouring out. You are a sword. You were always a sword. Like your mother and your daughter, too--steel spines run in the women of your family. I realize now why I never saw saints before. The world does not crash upon their wills like waves upon a rock, or part around them like the wake of a ship. Instead they are supple, and swim through the world as silently as fishes."

Cazaril in The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold, p. 501.

I liked this image of making a cup for spirit and that this is done by someone who is "allowing" like a fish moving through water. I wouldn't say this happens by the shape of our souls, for I think all souls are Love, but in our human experience I think this occurs by the shape of our beliefs. I also think this quote is not talking about whether someone takes up the sword and fights or not, but that we may not notice saints because they are quietly present. I always admired Mahatma Gandhi and saw his grandson, Arum, about a year ago. Arum was such a quiet, peaceful person. Definitely no sword made of steel there, but he shows us how much power there is in being who we truly are.

Abraham-Hicks: Our thoughts attract our life experiences

The thought that you think, you think, which attracts to it; so you think it some more, which attracts to it; so you think it some more. In other words, when you have an expectation, you've got a dominant thought going on, and Law of Attraction is going to deliver that to you again, and again and again. And you say "The reason that I believe this, is because it is true." And we say, the reason that you believe it, is because you've practiced the thought. All that a belief is, is a thought that you keep practicing.

Abraham-Hicks, From the workshop 5/28/02

Thinking about abundance...which I am desiring to attract. For me right now, abundance is really about believing in myself and trusting...trusting God, trusting that the Universe is loving in a constant way, and believing it is safe for me to have abundance. There is some type of hiding that has been going on in the way I've handled money. Some fear of drawing attention to myself. So, that doesn't serve me!! More later...

Rumi: There is a field

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn't make any sense.

-- Rumi, 13th century poet and mystic

Seth: Changing the past in your mind

I was just reading a fascinating quote of Seth's about our ability to change the past. I read the Seth books years ago when I lived in Virginia Beach and was a part of phychic development classes and experiences at Poseidia Institute there. The basis of their exploration was the Seth material in The Nature of Personal Reality.

I just read a long quote from Seth about changing our past in our mind. I did an experiment with it and it worked! A small part of the quote is:

"That past self is not hypothetical, either, but still exists, capable of being reached and of changing its reactions. You do not need a time machine to alter the past or the future.

Such a technique is highly valuable. Not only are memories not 'dead,' they are themselves ever-changing. Many alter themselves almost completely without your notice. In his (unpublished) apprentice novels, Ruburt (Jane) did two or three versions of an episode with a priest he had known in his youth. Each version at the time he wrote it represented his honest memory of the event. Note? the bare facts were more or less the same, the? entire meaning and interpretation of each version differed so drastically that those differences far outweighed the similarities."

Session 806, p.59, quote found at http://www.nirvikalpa.com/exercise.php4?row=5

The experiment of changing the past I did was to think of the miserable feelings I had as a child. As I went back to those feelings and that unhappy self, I could feel the understanding and good feelings I have now share with my child self. Where I felt lack and fear before, now I felt abundance. I could see that the things I love had been there then. I love nature, plants, animals, trees, being outdoors and that was always a part of my life. I remember seeing a large spider in the middle of its web. It had a beautiful, iridescent blue pattern on its back and I can feel the wonder as I stood looking at it on a warm, sunny day. We lived on a farm when I was in the third grade and nature was my companion. I remember inadvertently uncovering a mouse nest in the barn. The babies looked like little pink erasers and the mother was picking them up with her mouth and hurrying them to safety. I thought she looked so sweet taking care of them.

I have a feeling of wholeness and connection with my appreciation of nature now. I have always remembered the experiences I wrote about above (and more). And those memories always nourished me, but it was like the feelings of lack and unhappiness kept them segmented and alone. Now I have this feeling of flowing love like a river runs through me. I'm being filled to overflowing with this love and joy in the life of this planet. It wasn't the memories that changed, but the feelings and it feels to me like this joy flows through me and out into the world. I feel like the cup that is flowing over.

My friend Gina has a blog where she discusses Seth and other metaphysical topics. That's where I found the link to this information and she has links to much more. Her blog is Metaphysical Musings at http://metaphysicalmusings.blogspot.com/

About channeling

I started another blog a few days ago, Words of Well-Being, for channeled information. I began channeling in a pyschic development class about a year and a half ago. I love the experience of aligning to those positive non-physical energies. It's a feeling of closeness I haven't experienced with souls in their physical bodies.

I haven't been a part of a group for several months so I created my own "blog" or journal in Microsoft Word and began channeling for myself. I just wanted to continue the dialog, whether it is from my own Inner Being or from others in non-physical. Last week I got to the point where I felt urgently that I needed to begin giving the information out into the world so I created Words of Well-Being. When I spoke as I channeled in the group setting I could experience the personality and energy of the non-physical. When I am sitting at a keyboard I am naturally much more conscious...and it's more like I'm being intuitive about the right words to say. What I experience when I intuit and type the words is a feeling of being uplfted, a feeling of well-being.

So far I've felt more inhibited when entering my posts to Words of Well-Being. I think it is a process and that these first channeling experiences are just to clear the channel...to learn how to release inhibition and worries about whether its clear or not...to stop editing and just let it flow. As I think about it, it similar to artistic creation. Once the artist creates their work, then others experience and interpret it in their own way. I think it will be helpful for me to set my intentions and focus on my own experience and then it will be easier. EFT will be helpful in releasing inhibited/worry feelings (EFT link in sidebar). Gotta get some sleep now and then later I'll give it a try.

Abraham-Hicks: Being a deliberate creator...short version

There are no mysteries, ever -- once you understand these points: Well-being abounds. You are the natural recipient of Well-being. You get to ask -- and Source Energy is answering -- and all you need to do is be in the place of allowing. Once you get those things lined up and you've had an opportunity to practice them, here and there, everything makes sense to you. Everything makes sense in your life, and everything makes sense in the lives of those that you are watching. Because as you know their moods and attitudes, you understand exactly why things are turning out for them the way they are. There are no mysteries ever!
